Organic Verna Wheat Flour


Verna is an ancient variety of soft grain wheat originally from Monte Verna in Tuscany. It is stone ground which helps retain the vitamins and minerals that are naturally present in the grain. Verna whole wheat or semi whole wheat flour is best used for baking bread, pizza, and biscotti. Ancient grain flour requires a little more work than industrial flour, but the reward is in the quality and flavor.
