Farina Integrale o Tipo 2 di grano tenero toscano biologico
This flour is produced with the ancient grain variety, Verna, grown organically in Tuscany. No chemicals were used in the making of the flour and the entire production process from start to finish is certified organic. To obtain and maintain an organic certification, the cultivation, processing, and post-production inspection of the flour must follow strict regulations. Organic, stone milled flours are more easily digestible and have a high level of quality nutrients.

Grano tenero = Wheat
Integrale = Whole wheat or wholemeal
Tipo 2 = Semi/Half Whole Wheat
What is Type 2 flour?
Type 2 is considered to be a semi-wholemeal flour. Not as refined as normal flour, but not as heavy and dense as wholemeal flour it is a good compromise between usability, flavor and nutritional value.
